Corient is committed to protecting your privacy. This Global Supplier Privacy Notice (the “Privacy Notice”) describes how we may process, collect, use, disclose, or retain Personal Data (as defined in the Categories of Personal Data We Collect About You section below) related to suppliers of services and goods to us. This Privacy Notice also describes the rights you may have regarding our processing of your Personal Data under applicable law.
Corient is responsible for your Personal Data. Corient comprises Corient Advisors LP and any entity directly or indirectly controlled by Corient Global HoldCo Limited (collectively, “Corient,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). For purposes of applicable data protection law, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”), your Personal Data will be controlled by the Corient entity with which you are contracting. This Privacy Notice applies to all such entities.
Note to California Residents: This Privacy Notice describes how we collect, use, disclose, sell, share, and retain your Personal Data, and your rights and choices over our processing of your Personal Data. Categories of Personal Data We Collect About You
We may collect the following categories of Personal Data about you (collectively, “Personal Data”):
Identifiers: your name and login credentials (username and password) to our supplier related portals
Business contact details: the name of your employer, your job title, your business email address, your business telephone number, and your business address
Audio, video, electronic or similar information, such as CCTV footage and photos captured in and around our offices
How We Collect your Personal Data
We may collect your Personal Data in the following ways:
Directly from you;
When you communicate with us by telephone, email, or other forms of electronic communication. In this respect, we may monitor, record, and store any such communication;
From our affiliates, subsidiaries, and related entities;
From publicly available sources or from third parties to whom you also provide services (for example, where those third parties pass on your details when they recommend you to us).
How We Use Your Personal Data
We may use your Personal Data described above for the following business purposes:
- To provide you with information about us. We use your Personal Data to provide you with information relevant to your supply of services or goods to us.
- To perform the contract between us. We use your Personal Data to perform the contract between us, including responding to your inquiries and for any other purpose for which you provide us with your Personal Data under this Privacy Notice.
- Identity and authentication purposes. We use your Personal Data for identification and authentication purposes. For example, when you enter your account login credentials to enter one of our registration or login portals, we use your login ID and password to authenticate your identity.
- To administer and manage our business. We use your Personal Data for the administration and management of our business.
- To comply with legal obligations. We may use your Personal Data where we believe necessary to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, such as compliance with anti-money laundering laws; to seek advice on our rights and obligations, such as where we require our own legal advice; or to exercise or defend our rights or the rights of a third party, including complying with law enforcement or government authority requests and participating in compliance audits.
- To protect us and others. We may use your Personal Data where we believe necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities, fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person or to otherwise enforce this Privacy Notice or the integrity of our business.
- Deidentified data. We may deidentify or anonymize your Personal Data in such a way that you may not reasonably be reidentified by us or another party, and we may use such deidentified data for any purpose permitted under applicable law. To the extent we deidentify data originally based on Personal Data, we will maintain and use such data in deidentified form and will not attempt to reidentify the data.
How We Disclose the Personal Data We Collect
We may disclose your Personal Data described above for our business purposes as follows:
Related entities. We may disclose the Personal Data we hold about you to our subsidiaries, affiliates, and related entities.
Service providers. We may disclose the Personal Data we hold about you to service providers, contractors, and agents who perform functions and business operations on our behalf, for the purposes set forth above.
We may also disclose your Personal Data in the following circumstances:
Business Transfers. If (i) we or our affiliates are or may be acquired by, merged with, or invested in by another company, or (ii) if any of our assets are or may be transferred to another company, whether as part of a bankruptcy or insolvency proceeding or otherwise, we may transfer the Personal Data we have about you to the other company. As part of the business transfer process, we may disclose certain of your information to lenders, auditors, and third-party advisors, including attorneys and consultants.
In response to legal process. We may disclose your Personal Data where we believe necessary to comply with the law, a judicial proceeding, court order, or other legal process, such as in response to a subpoena.
To protect us and others. We disclose your Personal Data where we believe it is appropriate to do so to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, violations of this Privacy Notice, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.
Aggregate and deidentified information. We may disclose aggregate, anonymized, or deidentified information about you for any purpose permitted under applicable law.
Consent. We may disclose your Personal Data with your consent.

You may have certain rights regarding our processing of your Personal Data under applicable U.S. state laws. If our processing of your Personal Data is governed by such laws, this section provides you with additional information regarding our processing of your Personal Data under those laws.
For U.S. residents, we may “sell” your Personal Data or “share” your Personal Data for cross-contextual behavioral advertising (as those terms are defined under applicable US law). We do not use and disclose your sensitive Personal Data for purposes other than permitted under applicable law. Data Transfers
Corient is a global business. We may transfer your Personal Data to other countries which may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information, but we will protect your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Notice, or as otherwise disclosed to you.
We comply with applicable legal requirements when transferring Personal Data to countries other than the country where you are located. If you are located in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction with similar requirements, we will transfer your Personal Data in accordance with adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, and other data transfer mechanisms.
Data Retention
Your Personal Data will be held for only so long as it is necessary for the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected, and in accordance with applicable law. We will retain your Personal Data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice and for any additional period required under applicable law. When assessing retention periods, we first examine whether it is necessary to retain the Personal Data collected and, if retention is required, work to retain the Personal Data for the shortest possible period permissible under applicable law. The factors we will consider when deciding how long we will keep your Personal Data are fulfilling the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected and our legal obligations, such as financial regulatory obligations, dealing with any complaints, defending legal claims, and maintaining business records for analysis and/or audit purposes. After we no longer need the information in identifiable form, we will either delete it or de-identify it so that it is not reasonably possible to identify you as the subject of such information, except where legally required to do otherwise.
Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on the jurisdiction in which you are located, you may have the following rights under applicable law:
Right to be informed that Personal Data about you is being processed and collected;
Right to request access to and a copy of your Personal Data and information relating to how it is processed, including data in a machine readable electronic format for transmission to a third party;
Right to request deletion of your Personal Data;
Right to request the correction or update of the Personal Data we hold about you;
Right to lodge a complaint before the applicable data protection authority or directly to us, or institute civil proceedings where permitted by applicable law;
Right to restrict or object to our use of your Personal Data;

Right to be informed of data breaches involving your Personal Data, where required by applicable law;
Right to opt-out of “sales” of your Personal Data and “sharing” of your Personal Data for cross-contextual behavioral advertising purposes (as these terms are defined under applicable law)
Right to opt-out of targeted advertising, transfer of Personal Data to third parties for marketing purposes, or direct marketing activities;
Right to opt-out of certain profiling activities, including certain automated decision making activities;
Right to not be unlawfully discriminated against for exercising your rights.
Where we process your Personal Data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Your withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your Personal Data before withdrawal.
These rights may be limited or denied in some circumstances. For example, we may retain your Personal Data where required or permitted under applicable law.
Submitting Requests. To exercise your rights under applicable law, or if you are an authorized agent submitting a request on behalf of an individual under applicable law, you may contact us through the contact details provided in the Contact Us section of this Privacy Notice. You or your authorized agent may be asked to provide information such as your name, email address, postal address, or telephone number to verify your identity. Authorized agents must also provide a copy of the individual’s signed permission authorizing the agent to submit requests on the individual’s behalf.

We implement physical, technical, and organizational security measures designed to safeguard Personal Data. These measures are aimed at protecting the Personal Data we hold from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Please be aware that despite our efforts, no data security measures can guarantee security.

This Privacy Notice is current as of the Effective Date set forth above. We may change this Privacy Notice from time to time, so please be sure to check back periodically. We will post any changes to this Privacy Notice on our website. If we make any changes to this Privacy Notice that materially affect our practices with regard to the Personal Data we hold about you, we will provide notice as required by applicable law. Where applicable law does not require advance notice, such changes may be effective without prior notice, including by posting the updated Privacy Notice on our website.
